Unlike many of the private gated ski-in, ski-out communities, you can drive up through Evergreen to experience it for yourself. The best homes are directly on the ski runs and enjoy expansive views. The best homes have direct ski-in, ski-out access, and a few are either ski to or ski from, and might require walking down the road a few steps.
